Teen Disorders
Sometimes the problems teenagers face are not due to conscious life choices but to chronic disorders and other mental illnesses. These can be just as difficult to deal with as poor life choices. The sections in the menu to the right contain information and articles specifically addressing how ADHD, defiance, depression, anxiety, bipolar, and eating disorders might affect your troubled teen. Knowing about these disorders can help you watch for signs and symptoms in your teen. If your teen struggles with any of these problems and you need more help, call the Parent Help Center at 1-800-917-3959 or fill out our contact form. Parent Help is available twenty-four hours a day to help you.
